Thermal Imaging
If left undetected, water damage is one of the most common types of damage
that can lead to severe problems. Arizona Environmental Group, Inc.
utilizes state of the art thermal imaging cameras to locate hidden
moisture. Thermography can be used on any building material including
roofing, drywall, floor covering, exterior finishes, insulation and more.
Monitoring drying curves with thermographs can greatly improve drying
efficiency by accurately locating problematic areas. Once these areas are
located, simple changes in equipment placement can be made. At the
completion of the drying process, thermographic images can show the
progressive movement to a dry stable state, thus proving the structure was
properly mitigated.
If water damage has occurred, the use of thermography can aid in assuring
that the drying process is performed properly and that those areas
requiring immediate attention are dealt with first. Thermal imaging
cameras can be a valuable tool when a water loss has occurred. It can
provide significant information during moisture assessments, remediation
oversights and water damage investigations.
